Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking an Anti-Tamper (AT) Engineer to provide Anti-Tamper, System Security Engineering, and acquisition support to the government team lead on a major DoD program. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering/science and at least 6 years in a related field, plus 5+ years in AT engineering and 50% travel.

Location flexibility is offered within 50 miles of multiple U.S. bases and key cities; active Secret clearance with TS eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of Anti-Tamper engineering experience.
• Travel requirements: 50%

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems.
• Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Apply engineering experience to perform system integration configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
• Perform technical analysis of anti-tamper capabilities.
• Collect, organize and interpret technical data relating to weapons system acquisition projects.
• Engage with programs to assess performance-to-plan and technical risks.
• Track program and project status and schedules.
• Generate high quality technical reports and presentations.
• Communicate with Government team counterparts
