The Bachrach Group is seeking an investigative professional for a fully remote role within our Financial Crimes Compliance team. You will handle cases from start to finish: disposition alerts, research subjects, prepare case files and write SAR narratives, with exposure to 314(a)/(b), OFAC research and law-enforcement inquiries.
You'll work with Actimise and Alloy to document, disposition or escalate alerts, run EDD reviews and customer-risk assessments, and maintain complete case files.
This is real investigative work at a consumer fintech, not a box-checking review queue. You’ll join the Financial Crimes Compliance team and handle cases from start to finish: dispositioning monitoring alerts, researching subjects, preparing case files and writing the SAR narrative. You’ll also handle work that rarely goes to a contractor: 314(a) and 314(b) requests, OFAC research, law-enforcement inquiries and account-closure analysis. The role is fully remote with equipment provided, and the team needs people who can start quickly and produce work that holds up on review. If you write tight narratives and know when to upscale, you’ll be contributing in your first week.
You’ll work transaction monitoring, adverse media and high-risk watchlist alerts in Actimise and Alloy, documenting, dispositioning or escalating each one. When an alert is escalated, you’ll prepare the case: research the subject using internal data, public records, open-source and Google searches, and adverse media, then draft the investigation summary and SAR narrative for manager review. You’ll also run EDD and customer-risk reviews, manage alert queues and flag trends. On the program side, you’ll support procedures, job aids, QA, testing and remediation.
