Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a Student Assistant (Federal Work Study) in the Anthropology, Geography and Environmental Resources department. The position is located in Stanislaus - Turlock and involves clerical tasks, classroom support, and office administration.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, filing, updating websites and social media, and coordinating mail and supplies. Applicants must meet FWS eligibility with enrollment in 6 units and valid financial aid awards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, filing, and scanning, archiving records, photocopying, creating and maintaining office files, emailing, transcribing, providing classroom support, and other related duties.
• Basic troubleshooting with technology (printers, computers, copy machine, etc.).
• Updating websites and social media.
• Maintain office and event supplies.
• Assist with event planning.
• Maintain program office.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Retrieve and sort incoming mail and distribute appropriately/ make on campus deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.
