Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions in the Anthropology program. Opportunities include full-time one semester, part-time one semester, or part-time academic year based on department needs.

We seek candidates qualified to teach Archaeology, Biological, and Cultural anthropology at introductory and/or upper levels. A Master's in anthropology is required; ABD or Ph.D. is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have, at the minimum, a Master's degree in anthropology.
• College in-person and on-line teaching (distance education) experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and/or upper-level courses in Archaeology, Biological, and Cultural Anthropology.
• Serve as a temporary pool faculty member across multiple Penn State System campuses as needs arise.
