Job description

Role Summary

Anthropologie is seeking an experienced and creative senior concept designer who exhibits a natural curiosity and strong ability to innovate. This position will focus on the research and development of seasonal print and pattern trends and concepts for the Anthropologie apparel brands.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead in creating original, trend-forward, brand-appropriate print concepts and seasonal trend packs.
  • Utilize InDesign to create impactful digital trend presentations.
  • Research and present print trends seasonally and weekly, self-directing the process.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of past and emerging print and pattern trends in art, design, and fashion.
  • Use AI tools to create emotive, trend-forward imagery supporting concept directives.

Process

  • Prepare for weekly concept meetings, updating and developing print trends based on feedback.
  • Manage seasonal trend and concept workload to meet deadlines.
  • Understand the department’s calendar, including key events and milestones.
  • Stay informed about the Anthro Apparel business related to LY and Plan.
  • Identify successes and opportunities from weekly business reviews, seasonal hindsight, and quarterly print attributes.
Role Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in fine art, textile design, graphic design, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in print or textile industries.
  • Experience in trend forecasting, print design, and apparel design.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
  • Experience creating images using AI platforms.
