Job summary

Anthropologie in Pittsburgh is seeking a Sales Associate to provide a genuine, personalized customer experience on the sales floor. You will drive sales by engaging customers, sharing product suggestions, and maintaining store aesthetics while supporting leadership in daily operations.

The role requires passion for home decor, strong customer service experience, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Training and discounts are provided.

Role Summary

A Sales Associate contributes to driving sales through providing a genuine and unique experience to each customer.

Role Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Initiates genuine conversation to engage with the customer in a personalized way where all customers feel welcome, heard and valued
• Supports a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product suggestions
• Delivers a seamless shopping experience through understanding and utilization of systems and applications for an efficient customer engagement

Teamwork + Communication

• Contributes to the store by being positive, respectful and helpful to others
• Collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas with the team and actively participating in daily meetings and store initiatives
• Participates in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, new arrivals, and current trends to inspire the customer

Visual + Business Operations

• Upholds the Anthropologie Home Outlet visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer; maintains product tagging standards
• Assists leadership team in receiving and placing new product; supports customer in-store pickup order process
• Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Pay Range

USD $15.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.
