Job description

Role Summary

The Associate Graphic Designer will contribute to the visual identity of Anthro Living by developing compelling product packaging and graphic treatments for a range of home products. The ideal candidate will be a creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of design principles and a proven track record of bringing design concepts to execution. This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, ensuring brand consistency and visually appealing solutions that resonate with the Anthro Living customer.

Role Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and design innovative product packaging solutions that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, considering production feasibility and brand guidelines.
  • Develop creative graphic treatments for Anthro Living products, including but not limited to candles, home fragrance, decorative accessories, and seasonal items.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of current design trends, techniques, and technologies to inform design solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product development, and marketing teams to ensure visual elements are cohesive and effectively communicate the Anthro Living brand message.
  • Manage design projects from concept to final production, including preparing files for print or digital output.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand style guides and visual standards.
Role Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design,preferably within a retail or lifestyle brand environment.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy, with examples of packaging and product graphics.
  • Proven ability to translate creative concepts into effective and brand-appropriate visual solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
