A leading satellite technology company in Maryland is seeking an Antenna Test Engineer Intern to assist in characterizing and validating next-generation phased array antennas. This role is designed for students or recent graduates with a background in Electrical Engineering. Ideal candidates will have an understanding of electromagnetics and antenna theory, along with familiarity in Python or MATLAB. Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a B.S. or M.S. program in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, or a related field.
Understanding of Electromagnetics and Antenna Theory including Gain, Polarization, S-parameters.
Strong desire to work in a lab environment and learn professional measurement methodologies.
Responsibilities
Assist in setting up and executing RF measurements for Gain, Radiation Patterns, and G/T.
Help with DUT mounting, cable management, and basic equipment calibration.
Support the team by organizing and performing basic processing of measurement data.
Assist in creating test reports and documenting test procedures.
Help maintain an organized lab environment and track RF components.
