Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for Antenna System Validation to build the software backbone powering our satellite ground infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems, automation, and hardware to create tools used daily by engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable test automation frameworks that validate complex antenna systems at scale.
• Design and develop data pipelines for processing and analyzing massive datasets from RF systems.
• Create developer tools and APIs that accelerate hardware bring-up and system characterization.
• Develop simulation and modeling applications for 2D/3D antenna array design.
• Automate everything: from firmware deployment to system configuration and validation.
• Build web applications and dashboards for system monitoring and data visualization.
• Collaborate across disciplines with systems architects, hardware engineers, and firmware teams.
