Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an experienced engineer to design and implement hardware, firmware, and software for antenna systems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define, test, and release new capabilities.

You will join a hands‑on lab environment focused on bring‑up, validation, and technical documentation, with opportunities to influence satellite connectivity initiatives and production readiness.

Candidates should be proficient in at least one modern language and in Linux/CI‑CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD build processes.

Responsibilities

• Own design and implementation of hardware, firmware, software, or FPGA components for antenna systems.
• Collaborate with systems architects and cross-functional hardware, firmware, and software teams to define, implement, test, and release new antenna hardware and software capabilities.
• Support bring-up, characterization, and validation of antenna subsystems in the lab and on test hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, firmware, and software issues found during development, integration, or production testing.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical documentation for new hardware, firmware, and software.
