Job summary

You will perform analyses, CONOPS, and verification across the program life cycle in a 1st shift onsite role.

Required: strong engineering background, experience with DOORS/Cameo/Jira, and MATLAB; security clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship. Relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field; MS preferred.
• Level 2: Typically, 2 or more years of work related experience.
• Experience with requirements allocation, verification and validation, and qualification.
• Experience with communications subsystems or units.
• Experience with DOORs, Cameo, Jira, or MS Project

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF, digital, and/or optical satellite communications systems and payload architectures.
• Support trade studies and define/verify space communication system requirements and interfaces.
• Perform system-level CONOPS development, functional analysis, and requirements decomposition.
• Support system-level integration and validation; perform analyses and simulations for space comms.
• Develop analysis tools using MATLAB and object-oriented software platforms.
• Develop and verify system algorithms; perform hardware procurement and design reviews.
• Prepare, execute, troubleshoot, and verify system tests.
