Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Test Specialist for the Antenna Lab in Redmond to aid Starlink antenna development, testing, and lab operations. You will assemble test benches, perform RF measurements with VNAs, and coordinate lab activities across teams to keep the Starlink program moving.

You will maintain lab inventory, configure test setups, perform reworks, and ensure ESD-safe handling while adapting to fast-paced tasks. A background in mmWave/RF and schematic reading is ideal.

Qualifications

• BAS ic: 2+ years hands-on engineering technician role or degree in engineering, math or STEM.
• Preferred: 2+ years as mmWave/RF technician or associate degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on RF test equipment experience (VNA, signal generators, spectrum analyzers).
• Strong computer and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and procure lab equipment and RF components and maintain stock of commonly used parts.
• Support design engineers with RF measurement requests and build test fixtures.
• Assemble, configure, and operate test benches and thermal chambers across teams.
• Perform RF measurements using vector network analyzers and compile results.
• Coordinate yearly RF test equipment calibrations with vendors.
• Track inventory of lab equipment and test boards.
