Role
Antenna and Microwave Engineer at RTX (Raytheon Technologies). Onsite position located in Tewksbury, MA requiring U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design and hands‑on testing of RF/microwave components, cards, and systems.
- Develop architectures, subsystems, components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs).
- Integrate and test component‑level and system‑level phased array hardware.
- Provide technical support to production activities.
- Lead teams and manage cost and schedule; write proposals and present to stakeholders (desired).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in microwave/RF system design, analysis, and testing.
- Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
- Proficiency with analytical tools including MATLAB.
- Hands‑on testing using spectrum analyzers, real‑time spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and PNAs.
- Understanding of system‑to‑component requirement allocation and cost estimating, budget, and schedule management.
- Strong academic background in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory, and Radar Systems.

- Salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 (USD).
