Job summary

Amentum is seeking a qualified plumber for a seasonal contract supporting the United States Antarctic Program. You will perform installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems under the supervision of the Plumbing Foreman, including outdoor work in extreme conditions and remote deployments to Antarctica.

The role requires a Journeyman/Master license (or equivalent union) and at least four years of experience in plumbing. Proactive safety and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman or Master plumber license or equivalent union membership.
• Minimum four years of documented plumbing trade experience.
• Knowledge of Uniform Plumbing Code and ability to read design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform cutting, fitting, connection, and installation of plumbing piping, equipment, fixtures, and systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems and infrastructure.
• Maintain plumbing systems both indoors and outdoors.
• Respond to emergency service calls within and outside normal hours.
