Educational Assistants

Are you committed to helping students achieve success? ACES is seeking Educational Assistants to work in our partner district, Ansonia Public Schools in Ansonia, CT. The individual works in conjunction with the special and regular education teachers to support and assist students in achieving successful outcomes—academic, social, and physical. The role involves working with individual students or small groups of students.

General duties:

• Assist the teacher with instruction support, student monitoring, and material organization.
• Assist students during transitions and supervise during class assignments.
• Assist with supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, field trips, and instructional activities.
• Ensure the learning environment is clean and safe.
• Report observations to the lead teacher.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:
