Job summary

SendCutSend is seeking an Anodizing Technician to process customer parts through the anodizing line, ensuring they meet appearance, durability, and accuracy standards. You will perform loading/unloading, quality checks, and packaging per procedures in a clean, safe environment.

You will follow standardized work instructions, maintain LEAN and 5S practices, and support routine equipment care while complying with chemical safety rules. This is a full-time role based in Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Process parts through anodizing line following work instructions.
• Load, unload, rack, and unrack parts in the anodizing process.
• Ensure proper pretreatment, anodizing, sealing, and packaging per guidelines.
• Perform visual quality inspections and flag defects.
• Follow batching and prioritization to meet on-time orders.
• Maintain a LEAN/5S compliant workspace.
• Support basic equipment care and report maintenance needs.
• Follow safety, chemical handling, and environmental procedures.
• Complete daily tasks as directed by supervisors.

What You’ll Do

• Process parts through the anodizing line following established work instructions
• Perform part loading, unloading, racking, and unracking throughout the anodizing process
• Ensure parts are properly pretreated, anodized, sealed, and packaged according to company guidelines
• Conduct visual quality inspections and flag defects or process issues
• Follow batching and prioritization direction to support on‑time order completion
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles
• Support basic equipment care and report maintenance needs
• Follow chemical handling, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
• Complete daily production tasks as assigned by the Director of Finishing and Anodizing Lead

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience of general labor or other similar work experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Ability to safely operate machinery and equipment in accordance with work instructions and safety procedures
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience with anodizing or metal finishing processes
• Familiarity with chemical handling and safety procedures
• Experience performing visual or dimensional quality inspections
• Previous experience working with production schedules or batch processing

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts
• Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production floor environment
• Exposure to finishing chemistry, temperature variation, noise, moving machinery, and metal materials
• Use of required protective equipment at all times

Salary Description

$24.00 - $42.00/hour
