APEL Extrusions Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Anodize Team Helper to support the aluminum extrusion process on a Monday-Thursday swing shift (1pm-11pm). The role starts as a production helper advancing to prepare extruded aluminum for aging ovens, coordinating with a Saw Operator, and ensuring quality and customer specifications are met.

Qualifications

• High degree of independence and accountability; good attendance required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Able to independently perform simple calculations.

• Working knowledge of extrusion press responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with large industrial equipment.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment - ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots - at all times.
• Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our quality management system
• Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.
• Adhere and promote all safety requirements.
• Read and understand dimensional prints.
• Operate measuring devices.
• Operate a forklift.
