Job summary

The Assistant Director of Annual Leadership Giving at NKU is responsible for building meaningful relationships with alumni, parents, friends, and donors through personalized outreach and engagement strategies. This role manages a portfolio of leadership annual giving prospects and donors, targeting upgrades and gifts from $1,000 to $50,000.

Working within a donor-centered fundraising model, you will use multiple channels to advance prospects, maintain accurate records in Raisers Edge NXT, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in communications, marketing, business, or related field.
• Experience in consultative sales, fundraising, customer service, or business development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong editing, proofreading, and quality-control skills.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT, Give Campus Online and GCGO software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of prospects and donors, conducting cultivation and solicitation in the $1,000–$50,000 range via calls, email, text, video, and meetings.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit Founders’ Day match and challenge gifts.
• Develop engagement and solicitation strategy for high-net-worth Parents.
• Maintain accurate records of activity in Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Align donor interests with NKU priorities and programs to strengthen the pipeline.
• Support Annual Giving campaigns and special initiatives, including Founders’ Day.
• Serve as backup to Engagement Center manager, occasional evening hours.
