The Colorado Symphony is seeking an Annual Giving Manager to lead and grow individual philanthropic support. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Colorado Springs, CO with flexibility for some work from home.

You will manage multi-channel campaigns, donor segmentation, and strategic outreach, collaborating closely with development, marketing, and artistic staff to deepen donor relationships and achieve revenue goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills for donor messages and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of philanthropy and stewardship best practices including donor cultivation, recognition, and retention strategies.
  • Proven project management skills to coordinate timelines, resources, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with donor databases or CRM systems, and using data to inform strategy and measure results.

Role Description

The Annual Giving Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Colorado Springs, CO, with flexibility for some work from home. This position oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of annual giving campaigns to grow and sustain individual philanthropic support. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing solicitation strategies, managing donor segmentation and outreach, coordinating mail, email, and digital appeals, and tracking progress against revenue goals. The Annual Giving Manager collaborates closely with development, marketing, and artistic staff to ensure consistent messaging, meaningful donor engagement, and effective stewardship practices. The role also involves analyzing data, preparing reports, and identifying opportunities to deepen donor relationships and upgrade giving levels in support of the Colorado Symphony’s mission.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Annual Giving and philanthropic fundraising, including planning and executing multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strong Communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor messages and engage diverse stakeholders in person and in writing.
  • Knowledge of Philanthropy and Stewardship best practices, including donor cultivation, recognition, and retention strategies.
  • Proven Project Management skills to coordinate timelines, resources, and cross-functional collaboration for fundraising initiatives.
  • Experience with donor databases or CRM systems, and proficiency in using data and analytics to inform strategy and measure results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Interest in or familiarity with performing arts organizations, particularly orchestral music, is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Nonprofit Management, Communications, Arts Administration, or Business) or equivalent professional experience.
