Job description
Position Summary/Purpose

The purpose of this position is to connect, support and engage the GCU community philanthropically through branded content, fundraising campaigns and events.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions
  • Graphic design
  • Creative vision for Alumni & GCU Seniors social media
  • Assist with executing alumni and fundraising campaigns and events
  • Respond to alumni requests via phone and email
  • Assist in philanthropically engaging students, staff and faculty, friends of GCU and Alumni
  • Provide administrative support & all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Canva & Hootsuite
  • Ability to manage social media content from start to finish, including selecting photos, writing engaging captions, and scheduling posts across platforms.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Outstanding ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to provide phenomenal customer service experiences
  • Superior email and telephone skills
  • Ability to work both on-campus and off-site events
Experience/Education

Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or a Master’s program
  • Retain a 2.0 GOA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
