Qualifications

• Strong experience editing for television animation, episodic preferred.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro; After Effects and Audition are a plus.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for live editing.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the editorial process from Radio Edit to Final Locked Animatic.
• Collaborate closely with the Director during live edits.
• Maintain editorial consistency through naming conventions and workflow standards.
• Deliver organized project files that integrate into the production pipeline.
• Participate in collaboration with various creatives throughout the process.

We’re seeking a skilled Animatic Editor to join our team for an exciting animated series that blends heartfelt storytelling with visual innovation. If you love shaping story through rhythm, pacing, and strong collaboration, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of episode editorial from Radio Edit through to Final Locked Animatic
• Collaborate closely with the Director during live edit sessions
• Maintain editorial consistency through file naming conventions, timelines, and workflow standards
• Use company libraries for SFX, music and audio sourcing for animatic integration
• Process and add VO to animatic
• Deliver clean, organized project files that integrate seamlessly into our production pipeline
• Keep up with fast-moving production schedules and team communication
• Participate in collaboration with directors, storyboard artists and other creatives throughout the entire process

What You Bring:

• Strong experience editing for television animation (episodic preferred)
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro (After Effects and Audition are a plus)
• Great communication and collaboration skills, you’re comfortable editing live with creative leads
• Schedule and timeline management skills
• Clear understanding of the pace, deadlines, and expectations of a TV pipeline
• A sharp eye for timing, comedy, and emotional beats
