Role Description

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for an Animal Welfare Officer in the Animal Welfare Department. The incumbent performs duties related to impounding and/or containing, reclaiming or adoptions, and euthanization of stray or nuisance dogs or animals.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in handling animals preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must successfully complete the State Euthanization course.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable.

Compensation

Starting Salary Range: Grade F - According to Policy ($21.1622 - $22.4075/hr) with benefits.
