Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to citizen requests and patrol assigned area to enforce Ohio dog ownership laws.
• Issue citations or warnings based on circumstances; educate the public on care and treatment of animals.
• Assist with shelter maintenance, adoptions, redemptions, and dog license sales; answer phones and dispatch officers.
• Attend meetings, trainings, court appearances, and prepare for court with ARMS reports.
