Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Animal Welfare and Biosecurity Superintendent to lead animal welfare, biosecurity, compliance, training, auditing, and continuous improvement across processing facilities, live operations, and contract growers.

You will serve as the subject matter expert, deliver training, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and coordinate corrective actions while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years in poultry production or related fields.
• Experience in audits (internal or external) preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with animal welfare and biosecurity policies.
• Lead training, auditing, and corrective action oversight.
• Monitor humane handling across processes.
• Coordinate investigations and corrective actions of incidents.
• Maintain records and prepare performance reports.
