Responsibilities

  4. 4. Provide advice on the appropriate care, feeding, and general maintenance of animals to ensure their optimal health and wellbeing.
  5. 5. Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
  6. 6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of animal conditions, treatments, and progress.
  7. 7. Educate pet owners on the importance of preventive care, including regular vaccinations and check-ups.
  8. 8. Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in animal health and veterinary science.
  9. 9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for animals.
  10. 10. Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
  1. 1. A degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, or a related field.
  2. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary or animal healthcare setting.
  3. 3. Extensive knowledge of animal health and wellness, particularly in relation to small animals and dogs.
  4. 4. Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health conditions.
  5. 5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to pet owners.
  6. 6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  7. 7. Proficiency in the use of veterinary software and technology.
  8. 8. A compassionate and patient approach to animal care.
  9. 9. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  10. 10. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
