Job summary

AlphaGov is engaged as an Animal Services Operations Assessment Consultant for city work. The engagement is remote-first with occasional client travel.

You will assess shelter operations, staffing, intake, and outcomes, review field services and policies, and benchmark peers to recommend improvements, presenting to city leadership. The role requires at least 5 years in animal shelter or animal services management with operational assessment experience, and comfort with 1099 project-based

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in animal shelter or animal services management with operational assessment experience.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant.
• Nice to have: Certified Animal Welfare Administrator (CAWA).
