Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Animal Science, Biology, Wildlife Studies or related life science field.
• OR an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology/Nursing.
• OR 2+ years of college in related sciences with 1–2 years hands-on animal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide husbandry duties for small and large animals.
• Perform dosing techniques on animals.
• May perform animal bleeding techniques.
• Collect biological samples and perform basic measurements.
• Maintain AAALAC standards in animal care.
• Perform medical imaging.
• Monitor behavior changes and report concerns.
• Overtime may be required.
