Qualificações

• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional relevant laboratory experience and familiarity with animal welfare practices preferred.
• Computer experience is helpful.
• Must be able to carry out basic routine techniques independently, and have a desire to work closely with lab animals.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares tissue, blood and other specimens for routine testing.
• Participants in maintenance and identification of animals to be used in experiments.
• Assists in surgical procedures on animals as needed.
• Records results, reports unusual outcomes.
• Collects/enters/reports data.
• Demonstrates lab techniques to designated lab personnel.
• Assists in maintenance of lab equipment and supplies.
