Job summary

120 Altasciences Preclinical Seattle LLC is seeking an Animal Facilities Tech to support the Husbandry department in the vivarium. You will perform general facility cleaning, laundry, PPE stocking, and assist with transferring vivarium equipment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, no prior experience, and the ability to communicate professionally with a diverse team. This on-site Seattle position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility cleaning (e.g., mopping, trash removal, floor scrubber, etc.) and laundry.
• Stocking PPE storage and usage areas.
• Assist with transferring vivarium equipment.
• Perform minor facility repairs.
• Operation of the cage/rack washer.
• Comply with the appropriate safety and study requirements as described in the SOPs, GLP and governmental regulations.
• Comply with appropriate safety and health practices including personal protective equipment and barrier requirements, as applicable.

About The Role

What You'll Do

• Stocking PPE storage and usage areas.
• Assist with transferring vivarium equipment.
• Perform minor facility repairs.
• Operation of the cage/rack washer.Comply with the appropriate safety and study requirements as described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and governmental regulations.
• Comply with appropriate safety and health practices including personal protective equipment and barrier requirements, as applicable.
