Job summary

Altasciences in Everett, WA is seeking an Animal Facilities Tech to support the Husbandry department in the vivarium. You will perform general facility cleaning, laundry, PPE stocking, and assist with transferring vivarium equipment. You will operate the cage/rack washer and follow SOPs, GLP, and safety regulations.

No prior work experience is required. A High School Diploma or equivalent is accepted, and you must be able to communicate effectively in English and work with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility cleaning (mopping, trash removal, floor scrubber, etc.) and laundry.
• Stock PPE storage and usage areas.
• Assist with transferring vivarium equipment.
• Perform minor facility repairs.
• Operate the cage/rack washer.
• Comply with SOPs, GLP, and governmental regulations.
• Follow safety practices including PPE and barrier requirements.
