Working Hours
Sundays & Holidays are mandatory | *8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Hours may vary)
Mix schedule including weekends and weekdays | Average of 25 hours per week.
What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
As an Animal Caretaker (Part-Time), you will:

• Ensuring cleanliness by maintaining cages, runs, and shelter equipment in compliance with state regulations.
• Feeding, watering, and monitoring the health and well-being of shelter animals.
• Administering vaccinations, medications, and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Assisting with or performing euthanasia when necessary, following shelter protocol.
• Transporting animals to veterinarians, events, and other locations.
• Handling janitorial and grounds maintenance tasks to keep the shelter in top shape.
• Supporting public interactions by assisting with inquiries and processing paperwork.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
