Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of general laboratory experience or completion of an accredited clinical/medical lab program.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, nursing, clinical laboratory science, or a biological/physical/chemical science.
• Certification as Laboratory Animal Technician or Laboratory Animal Technologist by AALAS is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, calibration and operation of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Conduct tests, record data, and compile reports.
• Prepare and handle chemical, biological, or physical samples and reagents.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of lab instruments and facilities.
• Observe and document results, maintaining accurate records for experiments.
