Qualifications

• Knowledge of animal care and feeding procedures.
• Knowledge of humane animal handling and housing.
• Ability to learn procedures related to sanitizing kennels, equipment, disposition of animals, and general animal handling.
• Ability to learn pertinent local and State laws.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Feed animals as scheduled and ensure water is available at all times.
• Clean and sanitize kennel area, equipment, and outside areas of grounds.
• Maintain inventory of animals, equipment, and supplies.
• Update animal information in Chameleon database.
• Screens animals for disposition and update pick-up orders.
