Creighton University is seeking an Animal Care Worker to support the University Animal Resource Facility for experimental research and teaching. The role follows procedures established by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and complies with USDA and NIH regulations.
Responsibilities include feeding, watering, cage cleaning and changing, meticulous documentation, and adherence to sanitation practices.
Performs various tasks for animals housed in the University Animal Resource Facility for experimental research and teaching purposes, according to procedures established by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and conforming to USDA and NIH regulations.
Responsibilities include feeding, watering, cage cleaning/changing, documentation, and following sanitation practices.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Weekday hours are 7-3:30. Overtime may be required.
Rotating holidays and weekends are also part of the job.
$17 hour (or more based on experience) and excellent benefits.
High School diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of related experience preferred
