Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with animal handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide full care and case management oversight of impounded animals from intake through final disposition.
• Transport animals to adoption agencies, foster homes, veterinary clinics, and related settings.
• Maintain safe animal handling practices and shelter welfare per standards.
• Assist public with paperwork and information; conduct home visits for foster/adopt applications.
• Serve as backup Animal Control Officer when needed.
