Northridge Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Animal Care Attendant to join our team in Columbus, GA. This full-time role offers a flexible 4-day schedule with rotating weekend shifts and a strong focus on compassionate animal care and client service.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, caring for boarding and hospitalized patients, while adhering to hospital protocols and delivering outstanding service to clients and their pets.

Qualifications

• At least one year of Animal Care Attendant, kennel, or veterinary hospital experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Compassionate, dependable personality.

Responsibilities

• Check boarding patients in and out while reviewing care instructions with clients.
• Provide daily care for boarding patients, including feeding, walking, monitoring, and cleaning.
• Maintain clean, organized boarding and treatment areas.
• Observe patient behavior and report changes to the veterinary team.
• Document patient care and client communications.

What Our Animal Care Attendants Do
