Job summary

Randolph County is seeking an Animal Adoption Coordinator in Asheboro, NC. This full-time role handles daily Animal Adoption Center operations, guiding public adoptions and counseling prospective adopters through selecting a pet that best fits their lifestyle during shelter hours.

Responsibilities include processing online and in-person adoption applications, and reviewing and contacting new adoption applicants. Requires high school diploma/GED and proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent. Prefer two (2) years related animal care experience or training. Prefer experience in public animal services facility. Associates Degree in Animal Care and Management Technology preferred but not required. Requires Microsoft Office proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.
