Capgemini is seeking an experienced software engineer to join a hybrid Dallas, TX team. The role focuses on middleware development with Angular, NodeJS, and AWS, delivering API-driven, scalable applications in an Agile environment.

You will work across the full stack with a client-first mindset, writing clean code, implementing ATDD, and transforming legacy monoliths into microservices while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with middleware and modern web technologies.
  • Proficient in Angular, NodeJS, AWS and API development.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, TypeScript, RxJS and NgRx.
  • Familiarity with Agile software delivery and CI/CD tooling.
  • Strong understanding of scalable, maintainable code and microservices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain middleware-driven applications using Angular/NodeJS on AWS.
  • Deliver clean, testable, readable, and maintainable code.
  • Contribute to ATDD practices and design scalable solutions.
  • Identify bottlenecks and refactor legacy monolithic architectures to microservices.
