Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a hybrid, full-stack software engineer in the United States (Dallas-area posting referenced) to develop enterprise APIs and web applications. You will work with Angular, Typescript and core Java with Spring/Spring Boot, drive architecture in an Agile Scrum setting, and contribute to cloud deployments with Docker/Kubernetes/Terraform/AWS.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, testing, and modern development tools to deliver scalable solutions across teams.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years full stack software development experience building enterprise APIs and web apps including Angular, Typescript, and core Java with Spring/Spring boot.
  • Leadership experience to guide, encourage, and motivate your fellow engineers.
  • Experience with an Agile Scrum development environment.
  • Experience with web services - JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management.
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Experience building and deploying applications using CI pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience using source control and pull requests in code repositories like GitHub.
  • Strong communications and problem-solving skills
