Citi's Jersey City technology location is seeking a Lead Front End Software Engineer to guide the design and delivery of modern web applications using JavaScript and Angular.

You will own the technical direction of front-end systems, mentor mid-level developers, and partner with cross-functional teams to shape new product capabilities and scale solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in applications development or systems analysis.
• Frontend development expertise in JavaScript and Angular.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front end application development using JavaScript and Angular to deliver new features and system enhancements.
• Partner with cross-functional management teams to integrate systems and define enhancements.
• Resolve complex, high-impact technical and business challenges by evaluating system processes against industry standards.
• Shape application design decisions to align with Citi's broader technology architecture.
• Establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards that improve development quality and consistency.
• Translate business and infrastructure requirements into practical technical solutions that support organizational goals.
• Mentor and coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work across the team to meet delivery goals.
• Evaluate risk in technical and business decisions to protect Citi, its clients, and its assets.
