Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer in the Natick, MA area to own the Angular-based front end of scalable web applications. You will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding best practices and collaborating with design and backend teams to translate complex requirements into robust user interfaces.

You will code, test, and optimize software while advocating for reusable components and modern frontend tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SPA development experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering or Computer Science (or related field).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and observables.
• Experience with application state management strategies.
• Strong HTML/CSS knowledge, responsive design, and UI frameworks.
• Experience integrating with REST interfaces and SQL databases.
• Ability to develop front-end UI following design specs.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers.

• Ability to conduct peer reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with single page application development
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience with asynchronous programming, observables, frontend data structuring
• Experience with application state management strategies
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, including responsive design principles, CSS preprocessors and knowledge of UI frameworks
