Intermountain Healthcare's Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT is seeking an Angiography Technologist to support a growing interventional radiology program. You will assist in vascular and neurovascular procedures, maintain imaging quality, and help ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, ACLS within 120 days, and prior angio/interventional experience. The schedule is 4 days per week with rotating Shifts and weekend call with pay.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification upon hire.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification within 120 days.
  • Experience with complex interventional procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide procedural support as circulating, scrub, or monitoring technologist.
  • Operate angiography and interventional imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and verify orders.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
  • Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.
  • Manage supplies, equipment, and documentation for procedures.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and communicate with the care team.
  • Support post-procedure care including hemostasis and sheath removal as appropriate.

This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
