Job summary

Savannah Vascular Institute LLC, a large vascular surgery physician group, seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to work in a busy ASC as a circulating nurse. Responsibilities include perioperative care, assisting with arteriograms, dialysis access, and port placements, with medication and discharge orders as directed.

Three to five years ASC/circulating nurse experience preferred. BLS and ACLS are required. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Three to five years ASC/Circulating nurse experience preferred.
• RN in Georgia or eligible to practice in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with interventional and peripheral studies as a circulating nurse.
• Provide pre- and post-surgical care of vascular patients.
• Process medication and discharge orders as directed by physicians.
• Educate and counsel patients under physician direction.
• Assist with sterile preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring in the Angio Lab.
• Support procedures such as arteriograms, dialysis access, port placements, etc.

Savannah Vascular Institute, a large vascular surgery physician group practice is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to work in a busy ASC assisting the physicians with interventional and peripheral studies as a circulating nurse, p re and post-surgical care of vascular patients, medication orders, discharge orders, etc. Provides patient education and counseling under the direction of the physician. Assists physician with procedures as needed with sterile preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies and procedures of the Angio Lab. Procedures include arteriograms, dialysis access, port placements, etc. Three to five years ASC/Circulating nurse experience preferred.

Full Time. Day Shift. Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends.

Current BLS and ACLS required.
