Anesthesiology Technician – Orange County/Irvine (3x12-hour shifts)

About the OR
- 3 Operating Rooms and 2 Procedure rooms
- Types of cases (not limited to): Urology, GYN, Breast, Reconstructive Urology, Colorectal, General, and Plastics
- Endoscopic cases (not limited to): Colonoscopies, ERCPs, EGDs, and Bronchoscopies
- Work Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts, 06:30am – 07:00pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare and restock anesthesia cart with necessary equipment and supplies
- Set up anesthesia equipment anticipated for specific patient needs according to scheduled operations and prepare special equipment as needed
- Assist anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist during cases where special equipment is used
- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize anesthesia equipment and check anesthesia machines for leaks, empty tanks, etc.; prepare anesthesia equipment for the next case
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- One year of recent experience in an acute care facility as a nursing assistant or equivalent
- Medical terminology and basic mathematics
- Current CPR certificate
