The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Shadyside hospital. Qualified candidates will be ABA board-eligible or certified and must qualify for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.

Position Details

• General position with opportunities in acute pain, cardiac, and other anesthesiology subspecialties for candidates with fellowship training or substantial experience.
• Schedule: Daylight coverage, Monday-Friday, with shifts at 6:30 am – 3:30 pm, 6:30 am – 5:30 pm, or 6:30 am – 7:30 pm.
• Call: Beeper call and in-house OB call, from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
• CRNA supervision with a 2.75:1 concurrency target.
• Hospital staff includes 20 anesthesiologists and 44 CRNAs.
• Academic appointment available.
