Job Summary: HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a Board Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join the growing cardiac program at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. Cardiac Fellowship preferred with TEE certification.

Specialization: Anesthesiology Cardiac

Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:

• Staffing model of 11 Anesthesiologists (8 Cardiac and 3 General) and 25 CRNAs covering 12 ORs plus EP Lab, Cath Lab, and Endo. Average surgical volume of 9,000 annually.
• Diverse case mix including Liver Transplant (with a dedicated team of 4 Physicians), Cardiac, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Neuro, Spine, Vascular, Robotics, etc. No Peds, No OB, No Trauma.
• Average cardiac volume of 300 hearts annually.
• Work week averages 45-50 hours.
• Cardiac back-up call - approximately 10 calls from home per month, evenly distributed among 3 team members. Cardiac/Liver transplant team covers nights in-house.
