Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Saint Petersburg, FL. The schedule runs 7a-5p Monday to Friday with beeper call 5p-7a on weekdays and 7a-7a on weekends. Cases include cardiac, spine, neurosurgery, orthopedic and vascular.

Credentialing takes 30–60 days. Florida license and board certification are required. EMR systems include Meditech, Medaxion, PODS and QGenda. Malpractice coverage and travel arrangements are provided by AMN.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida medical license.
• Board certified in Anesthesiology.
• Locum tenens support for a hospital setting in St. Petersburg, FL.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for cardiac, spine, neurosurgery, orthopedic, vascular cases.
• Be available for regular shifts and after-hours on-call per schedule.
