Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in Reading, PA. Schedule is Monday–Friday with 8s and 10s, full-time for a 3-month commitment; no on-call. Certifications required include AC LS and BLS, plus a PA license. Paper charting in a 6-OR facility.

Start date ASAP; competitive pay of $315.25–$341.25 per hour with malpractice insurance arranged by AMN. Travel and lodging support available through AMN’s dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist required.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.
• Active PA medical license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for scheduled procedures in an OR suite.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimized anesthesia plans.
• No on-call requirements; full-time locum tenens with a 3-month commitment.

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Paper Charting
• Certifications required: Board Certification, ACLS and BLS
• Number of Operating Rooms: 6
• Active Pennsylvania license required
