St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, a Level I Trauma Center in the Philadelphia area, is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist. The anesthesia team provides general anesthesia for surgery, cardiology, and radiology, with a focus on pediatric perioperative care.

Board certification in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology is required; new graduates are welcome to apply. A PA license or ability to obtain one is also required as part of joining our patient-centered team.

Job Summary

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, a Level I Trauma Center, is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist. The anesthesia department delivers general anesthesia for surgery, cardiology, and radiology. The ideal candidate will provide care for general pediatric surgical cases and cardiac procedures if Board Certified. This position is responsible for promoting excellence in the provision of perioperative care for patients undergoing pediatric surgery or procedures across the hospital, including the procedural population (pain management, radiology, etc). We are looking for someone motivated to grow with the program, contribute to clinical care, and be part of a collaborative, patient-centered team.
