Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, seeks a per diem Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team in Philadelphia. The role encompasses inpatient and outpatient evaluations, advanced testing, and collaborative EP and general cardiology care.

You will interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, ambulatory ECGs, and exercise stress tests across age groups, with teaching responsibilities for residents and EP fellows. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

  • Pediatric cardiology fellowship required.
  • 1–2 years of pediatric cardiology experience preferred.
  • PA license (or ability to obtain one) required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology evaluations and testing.

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a per diem Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team.

Highlights
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology evaluations and testing.
  • Interpretation of ECG's, echocardiograms, ambulatory electrocardiography, and exercise stress testing in infants, children and adolescents.
  • The role would include inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology and general cardiology care, invasive electrophysiology procedures including pediatric and adult congenital patients
  • Teaching and mentoring of residents and adult electrophysiology fellows, and academic clinical research.
  • The electrophysiology service includes one pediatric congenital electrophysiologist and a PA dedicated to the device clinic.
  • The electrophysiology service provides coverage for St Christopher's Hospital for Children.
